Covid News MTB

Hello there bikers,

we’re bringing out our 2nd edition of Covid news, with the latest info on travelling to some of the most popular countries where you can ride with Traildeer in the upcoming weeks – specifically Italy, Croatia, France, Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia.

We’ve got good new and bad news. The good or even great news is that things are opening up, and fast. Its now finally possible to cross borders and go mountain biking abroad without the pretence of going on a “very important” business trip.

The bad news is that the information about where you can and cannot go, and what tests you have to have is like the all time favorite relationship status “complicated” on Facebook, to say the least. Searching for it, even by talking to local officials is like looking for a needle in a freaking bureaucracy haystack.

Therefore our Chief Covid specialist Evi has invested the time and effort, so you don’t have to and has dug up the main information about the favorite countries you can ride already in with Traildeer.

You will find conditions to enter the country, maximum size of the riding group, as well as whether hotels and camps are already open. On top we also added if you will be able to enjoy that after-the-ride beer everyone is longing for on the terrace or the dinner inside of the restaurant.

Everything is up-to-date to the 31.05.20201 according to reopen.europa.eu, but we strongly recommend to use this as only the first point of planning and definitely to check out the specific measures for the given country before kicking the pedals, as these things wear out faster than an NX chain.

Have fun planning and if you have a moment let us know where you’re headed.

See you on the trails.
